About Bone

Bone is an early-stage design studio working with ambitious seed and Series A startups across web3 and web2. We specialize in 0→1 creative work: narrative, positioning, brand systems, product design, and launch execution. Most of the companies we work with are early, technical, and building complex products. Our job is to make them feel clear, simple, and inevitable.

We treat design as deterministic. We build systems, pipelines, and repeatable frameworks that let us move fast while maintaining a high bar. Our goal is simple: deliver work that punches above our weight class, every time. We're still small — we haven't worked with giants yet. But we're building with founders who are aiming to become them.

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, style-forward Illustrator to help define and elevate the visual layer of the startups we build. Your illustrations will shape how early-stage companies are perceived at launch — by users, founders, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Create distinctive illustrations for brands, landing pages, and launch materials

• Develop illustration styles that feel modern and intentional

• Work closely with brand and product designers to integrate illustration into cohesive systems

• Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving startup narratives

Nice to have: motion or animation experience, and familiarity designing for technical or startup audiences.

Role Details

Flexible contract to start, with potential to grow into something larger. Competitive compensation based on experience. Fully remote.
